It is there, several times. When an ad is approved, it goes in in the order that it was submitted, so if it is approved 3 days after it was submitted, it appears 3 days down in the ads.

Here are the basics:

1. Only private party sales are allowed in the forum. No dealers.
2. Ads are 100% free.
3. Threads are moved to the archive after they have been inactive for 90 days.
4. You may "bump" a thread once per month.
5. TBN does not review ads. Buy and sell at your own risk!

---------SAFE SELLING GUIDELINES---------

As you start to get contacted by potential buyers, please be careful of online scam attempts. For many years, online classified websites have been the target of scammers who attempt to defraud sellers of high-ticket items, including tractors, with various illegal tactics.

Here are some general guidelines:

* If something "just doesn't seem right" it probably isn't.

* Deal locally with folks you can meet in person.

* Never accept or wire funds via western union, moneygram or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.

* Fake cashier checks & money orders are common, and banks will cash them and then hold you responsible when the fake is discovered weeks later.

* TractorByNet.com is not involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification."

* Never give out financial information (bank account number, social security number, ebay/paypal info, etc.)

* Avoid deals involving shipping or escrow services and know that only a scammer will "guarantee" your transaction.

* Do not ship items to a buyer until you are 100% positive that the funds for the transaction have been secured through a trusted method.

This is by no means a complete list and scammers are always coming up with new tactics to try.

Thank you!!!

I sold my Troy bilt sickle bar mower. How do I delete it from the forums?

You cannot delete it, but you could report the post to a moderator and request that they do. I just post in the tread and not that the item has been sold and leave it.

How do I bump?

By posting in the tread, it will be "bumped" to the top of the forum.

Ok - I'm a bit baffled. I do not have the "Post New Thread" button showing anywhere. I am logged in. I read the rules and it says that all you need is be a member - no other requirements to sell something.

How do you post a new for sale thread?
