thanks jim, but i feel that the 8n has really gone down in price, to many foreign dealers on every corner saling tractors that have four wheel drive and buckets for just a few more dollars. but i figure if i can get 3400 out of her i will have made my money back that i put into her. if not i'll just keep in the barn. thanks again

I have a 1950 8N and yes, you are correct. Prices on those (and others) are down. You can buy one in "decent" shape for 2K to 3K pretty much any day of the week. I paid $3400. for ours 11 years ago! and of course put a few bucks into it initially to get it in the condition that I wanted it in. Will probably just keep ours forever for they're not bringing much in the way of money. Surprising for they are great little tractors and built to last forever..........Good Luck..........

My buddy has an 8n.. Not sure the year but in the 50's I think. He paid $2000 for it and its nothing like yours. Yous is awesome looking compared to his. We had to rebuild the whole steering mechanism. His is also still in the 6V set-up. Good luck on your sell.

Very nice. Now Go out and get it dirty! I think my brothers 8N is red because of rust versus paint.
    Nice looking specimen.
