Lightbulb 66" Versatech Grapple for $600 - Houston, TX

Got this single cylinder grapple in Nov 2010 at an auction in Houston. (I've posted about it in various TBN forums -- search if interested.) Didn't get a chance to use it much, but determined it was too big for my little 28 hp CUT. I just replaced it with a 48" WildKat grapple that looks just like it, but works much better with my equipment. (So far as I can tell Versatech, WildKat, and Fabtech attachments are made in the USA by the same company.) As you can see by the pictures it is essentially brand new and has been stored out of the weather.

The $600 cash price is firm as I'm actually selling it for a little less than what I have in it. (Check around the internet if you think the price is high.) The buyer will need to pick it up in Houston UNLESS it is REAL convenient/close for me to deliver it. (I will make that determination and there might be a cost.) By the way, the folks at Everything Attachments have a pretty nice "how to" video using a grapple with a somewhat similar design:

    Hi Mike,

I'm in Houston just outside the NW 610 loop.

    Hey Mike,

Just heard on the local news that an area around Needville burned today. Hope you, your family, and your place are all fine. I'm a native Texan and have never seen anything like the summer we've had this year.

Great price! I have the next larger Versatech model with the 2 separate clamps on top. It came with my new-to-me 4540 Montana (LS). Great attachment!

It was still quite far from me but I had friends that were a bit worried! The only damage was lots of land and a couple barns. No houses or, more importantly, lives.

Congrats on selling the grapple, it was a great price!

    True, can't replace a life....

Well it isn't "quite" sold yet, but we have a verbal agreement to complete the transaction tomorrow afternoon. I'll post something here in this thread to let the other interested parties know how things work out.

I knew it would not last at that price!

What auction did you get it from? Was it local?
