Idaho For Sale: 1965 Ford 800 Fire Truck

1965 Ford 800 2-Ton dual rear wheels, 7,700 ORIGINAL miles on it. Pump, hoses, sirens...it all works! 1,000 gallon water tank, dual 150 foot spool of fee hose with nozzles. Interior is in phenomenal shape. It is a fire truck...you know it was well taken care of. I have a few too many "toys" and need to make some room. Otherwise, I would keep it...it is nice knowing I have the ability to fight back or put out a fire.

Can not go by miles on a fire truck; it sits idling, running the pto pump, total hours is the key.

If you live in a remote area, and owned your own fire truck, would you get a reduction in your fire insurance premium? just saying..............

Big Lar, you are correct about idling, but it is a solid running truck and it has less than 8,000 miles on it. Everything works and it is a great piece of equipment. As for the insurance, I am sure it will depend on the insurance company and location. An interested person will have to check with their agent.

Nice old fire truck. Any chance that a rule could be made that when an item is put up for sale, that they also include an asking price ?
I,m sure if it,s 5K, there might be some interest, 15K, not so much. It,s all relative, but we at least need a starting point.
