I'm not too worried about the leaves, just blow them in the woods or compost piles .

This is the firt time seeing the house with greenery...except for grass, which I have none. .

I do have 4 big oaks that have died due to track loader cutting a root. I will take those down in the next couple of weeks. I hate losing them but it will open my view of the mountains.

I finished reading your house building posts over the past three days. The pictures have been great to see it from road clearing to move in. The setting looks great. Thanks for the time you put into this.
Did I miss where you used the steps from the old home place? It is great you used the mantels it really gives the great room a warm look.
