I have a friend that purchased one of those DeWalt camoflauged flashlights because he thought it was neat. I told him I can't find one bright yellow in the daylight, much less a camo. Add in a power outage and I am really in trouble! He lost his about two weeks later, and as far as I know, has never found it.

I bought some of the heavy duty lynch pins at TSC - they have a much stronger spring. They still get stripped off by the brush.

The kids lost an FRS radio out in the field last fall. We walked all over the place pressing the call alert. About 4 months later my wife found it while we were making fence. Still works!

Found it! I started burning the brush and looked down and there it was. Now to find a better pin to hold it in.

I have found that most of the tools and equipment can be found by the dog. Seem to leave a blood trail no matter where i go.

It is getting hard to find a lot of hunting equipment that isn't camo these days.

I try my best not to buy any of it in camo, but sometimes I have to. Set it down for a minute & it is gone...
