Default expanded metal fencing

I am looking for some expanded metal fencing. Do I need to look at a fencing contractor or are there other outlets for this type of product? I tried Lowes and Tractor Supply with no luck.

Look at lumberyards or Tractor Supply type places. Feed stores can also send you in the right direction. You may have better help if you refer to it by Field Fence also.

I have bought Red brand "field fence" here at several Lowes and have seen it aat a few HD's, I paid about $130 for 35" 330' roll. The term "expanded metal", makes me think if grate type material.

As far as the field fence, Lowes and HD don't have pics and prices or even a referance to farm type fence, but most of them carry it and I know tractor supply does. It's on thier web site www.tractorsupply.com

Unless it's another type of fence. Do you mean cyclone or chain link?

In your link are pictures of perforated metal, expanded metal, & chain link, in that order. Perforated metal & expanded metal are availible from steel supply houses. MikeD74T

Try these: steel in Rochester - YELLOWPAGES.COM

Couple years ago I bought some 12 gage woven wire fencing. It is 4' high and starts out 2x4 inch spaces at the ground. the spaces gradually get larger and at the top they are 4x4 inches. It came in 300' plus rolls and at that time they were less than a hundred each.
I just bought 2x4" x 14 gage 6" high fencing ( 450' ) to enclose some maple / oak trees recently planted. That was about 39 dollars a roll. Darn deer will eat my trees if you don't protect them.
