Default Spading the garden

My daughters new garden plot required tilling. First I had to spade it using the forks on the bucket and then pick rocks. Some pictures.

Good thinking!
When ever I hear the greenies talking about "double-digging" their garden plots I have the same thought that you did: use the tractor, not your back!

You had me worried there. I thought for a second that you were actually out useing a shovel and digging in the dirt by hand. Nice use of your tractor!!!

Okay, we see spading. . .

Now for:
hilling
rowing
planting
watering
tilling
weeding
spraying
picking
cooking
eating

All but the last two may be able to be done with the tractor. I'll be glad to help you with the eating.

Okay, I'll bite, what are those things sticking out of the top of your bucket?

Thems is to make sure a log I'm lifting don't come back and sit in my lap!

Knight, after having spent 25 years in the sand dunes of Lake Edmonton it is surely a shock! I would surely like to see some three foot deep black loam with no rocks.

I was out again today Bird. The pile of rock has doubled. If I go back in several weeks time I'm sure the pile will again have a significant increase.
