Default 2 car garage

I am getting ready to build a 2 car garage 24x24. Does anyone have any pictures of how they anchored the frameing to the block. Thanks for the help.

Default Re: 2 car garage

I don't have any pictures but I filled about every third row of block with concrete and then used "L" bolt concrete anchors embedded in the concrete.

Part of my garage is below grade up to about 5' so I filled them all of the way to the ground but I read where some people stick a piece of cardboard about two rows deep and then just stick the "L" anchors into that.

I think that the weight of the structure is going to do a pretty good job of keeping it in place but the anchors are required by most codes and will certainly help to keep everything from shifting.

At the link below are some pics of my construction (but no anchor pics).
