Default Re: Anyone use "Billboard" tarps before?

I know a guy with a few billboards on his farm (high traffic road), and he used them in his hay barn on the floor to keep moisture from coming up thru the gravel. He uses a New Holland Stacker Wagon and is able to back the wagon into his 60'X100' 3 sided barn and set the hay on top of them. Pretty slick and he doesn't loose as many bottoms due to rot.

Funny, I usually see old billboards with torn, faded paper flapping in the breeze advertising the $1.79 Blizzard from 4 years ago.......so considering using that as a cover is a little weird to me.

What are they making billboard signs out of these days?
good ?

Funny YOU ask, this spring my ole buddy & I redone an ole gooseneck stock trailer & finishing touch was tarp on top.....we went to one of those junk stores & he had a bunch of those billboard tarps, so my buddy got one about the size he wanted(I think it was an ad for a cellphone company).. took it to upholstery type company & they didn't want to touch it because they didn't sell the material so he go some eyelets & we fit it to the top & he started laying the eyelets every 8 inches....Man that thing worked out great & then he painted the ad with a white paint & the print was facing down so cows could read ads anyway! If I can remember to take cam I'll post afew pics! Onlytime will tell if it holds up! Hope this helped!!!
