I want to know how you kept him clean and dry when using the water hose?

I can't! You have not seen the "other" pictures and the ring around the bathtub!

So here is the first day of actually putting up some lumber. It is amazing how much work these men can get done in one day!

Various pics showing the orientation to the house and property. I already enjoy the overhead door in the rear that faces the pond!

It is going to fill up fast! I wish the budget would have allowed for a bigger building but I'm very happy with this one...much better than none! I'm happy with how well it is matching up with the house.

The seamless gutters were put on today. My buddy that does concrete will be here next week to do the floor. I'm also planning to put a small apron out in front of the man door.

I still have quite a bit of dirt to move and need to dig the ditch for the downspout drain(s). I'm looking at cutting some more of the hill out and building a swale around the building for drainage. I'll be sure and get some more pictures as things progress.

not to be nit-picky, but from the photos, I would say that your crew was Mennonite, not Amish. the Mennonites drive cars, use power tools, tractors and other such conveniences that the Amish avoid.

They very well could be, however they did not drive here. The truck and tools belonged to my contact I use for them. At any conclusion, they did a good job in my opinion.
