Here is another picture. I put some longer 3pt lower links so I could get the seat on. Much more comfortable than sitting on my knees backwards on the regular tractor seat. Although the hoe is powered from the tractor remotes I left the PTO pump and resevoir connected.

Pay close attention and you may see an UN-buried power line!

I think $2700 is about right or maybe a little low for such a clean one, assuming your hypothetical customer will also have the cost of a day's travel to come look at it. If you were nearer a huge population center with more potential buyers I would put it on Craigslist and ask another $500-$1000.

My identical K650 was listed on Craigslist at $2800 in a remote and relatively unpopulated area (Chico, far Northern California) without any photos, didn't even have the word Kubota in it, and the guy never got a phone call for a month. Then he listed it at $2500 on Redding Craigslist (also remote, but 80,000 population) where I saw it and jumped immediately, even though I'm several hours south of Chico.

Based on the phone calls he was getting from the Redding listing he added photos to the listing and by the time I got up there, I actually heard him turn away two callers while I was paying him and loading it. -After- I paid, I told him he should have listed it on the Sacramento and SF bay area Craigslists where some 10 million potential buyers could have seen it. Moral of the story - to get full value, advertise everywhere within a full day's travel, or even farther if you have to to include a large population center.

My name is Shawn6 from Quincy Il and I have a k-650 backhoe that I am starting to tear into and finding out that no one not even Kabota knows anything about it. Finding this out when I just went to buy the seals to the hydrolics. So what I was wanting to know is could you if you can email me the parts manual or what ever you can do would help me so much. I also wanted to know if it has anything about the pto pump parts numbers anything on the seal kits to the hydrolic pumps and the pto pump. Forget Kubota Corp. Turn to your local hydraulics shop.

These are built out of standard American hydraulics components. Any place that will cut custom hydraulic hoses for you, probably also has all the seals on the shelf. You might have to pay them to overhaul the cylinders to pay for their expertise, however.

It's not hopeless, it's just a matter of finding your local specialist. He will match seals etc by eye instead of #. There will be a specialist in any community that has farmers or industry.

You might ask a rental yard's mechanic where he goes for hydraulic stuff.

try Tratorsmart.com. They should be able to get you hook up with the part numbers and manuals. Although California is right, your local shop will probably be better and certainly CHEAPER!

something that is much needed for mine, but I keep pushing it and leaving it off until "before next dig" and then the next dig comes and goes
