Anyone know any companies that provide overhead garage door kits. I'm trying to find a company that if I provide the measurements of the opening that they can provide all the hardware for the garage door. Opening is approx 15x15, and I'm thinking of an overhead door due to simplicity. I has hopening to find something where the garage door is in panel sections that is then bolted together during assembly.
Looking for something no frills of design and asthetics.

Try this company: Overhead Door Dealer Locator
I have their doors in my shop and really like them. They are more expensive than "barrel" or roll-up doors, but you don't have the issues with the barrel not wanting to unroll and come down. I think I posted a link for you local dealer. Chris

I purchased a couple clopay's a couple of years ago from these guys:
Roll-up Garage Doors & Metal Garage Kits Available Online No problems, at that time I was able to get more door for my $ than trying order from HD or Lowes. I ordered the EZ-Set tensioning system on the doors. I have also found the local garage door guys to be competitive as well, especially if you purchase the garage door opener and installation as a package deal. The guy I used, had several options from builders grade (good enough for a barn) to high end. When you figure they can install two doors in a couple hours without having to make the 3 trips for more pieces of angle iron etc. that I end up making. Edit: The local guy came out and checked measurements before ordering the doors as they could come in custom sizes for roughly the same amount of money. |
