Hey Harv ,

Thanks for sharing the pics with us. I have a question on the sliding doors please: Im not clear on how the bottom is set up, Is there a groove or track in the concrete and pins coming down from the doors that slide in it? Or what all is going on there?

Thanks, Dave

I used barn door track for the bottom of the door frames. Then I installed five eighths anchor bolts into the concrete to guide the door. That prevents the doors from rubbing on each other and the building. It also limits the door slide so that they can be locked from the inside.

One of the hiccups in a double door slide is the gap for the outside door when closed. I had Mueller break me some pieces that filled in that gap.

Nice work on the rack, Harvey. That makes use of a lot of airspace that would have been wasted. Now all he needs is a set of roll-around steps for even easier stowage/access to the materials.

Please don't take this as anything but congratulations, but that building looks much better than I ever thought it would.

Forget about tractor and implement storage that looks like a good place for a Texas Ho-Down complete with a place to elevate the band!

One great project after another, with your usual ingenuity and craftsmanship. Do you have a guess on the load capacity for the cantilevered racking?
