We finished the installation of the 2"X8" pressure treated hexagon on the sides to provide a place to bolt the sky window.

We slaved over three 30" perc holes today. I sure hope they test ok. We sighted a snake close to one of our perc holes. I am not sure what kind it is? I added a few more pictures of the installed window. I let the plastic on the top and installed plastic between the window and the room below to protect from the grinding dust.

Sam That snake is an Oklahoma Green Asp. They are VERY VERY VERY POISONOUS. And you CANNOT erradicate them. Where there is one, there is hundreds.

I strongly recommend you and the family get off the property now. Lock the gate, and never return. Please leave the keys under the rock on the right.

Sam,

Hope your perk test went well. At my farm in Wellston it wouldn't perk so the choices were a lagoon or an aerobic system. I went with the aerobic system and don't think I'd ever put in a system with laterals again as because I don't have to worry about a drain field. Just put out a couple of popup sprinkler heads. Very pleased with the system.

Greg

Ok you had me worried so I looked up the Rough Green Snake, Opheodrys aestivus and found them to be quite nice. I did handle this snake and I was surprised it was a few feet from my wife and I while we were jack hammering our perc hole.

I will leave you a key under one of our millions of rocks but I must warn you we have many snakes.

What is the equipment cost for an aerobic system?

Darnit I was looking so forward to living in OK... Oh Well

As for snakes, here is a link

Poisonous Snakes In North America

Truly there aren't very many in the US, the babies are generally deadlier, and very few snakebites end up fatal... I personally don't mind snakes, we had plenty in wyoming, and I owned a few in my younger days. But with kids I get the concern. Keep that one you have around and it will help with any mice and moles...
