    any one out their in the south especially, have any pointer on Geo thermal heating and cooling? Please do provide all the input you can.

    That's a big subject.

    Drill for a closed loop system, unless you want to be minding a loop field for all those years to come.

    Geothermal heat pump, I would go no other way. I have a Climatemaster Tranquility 27, 4 ton unit with four 200' deep HX "well" bores. ClimateMaster Inc. - ClimateMaster Residential Units
