acreage............can anyone tell me the acreage on a piece of prpoerty that is.: 125 feet X 1017.36 X 47.47 X 1052.62 ?
You would be correct, none of the corners are 90 degrees, that's part of the reason I posed the question. It sounds like an irregular rectangle, not all corners are 90*.
You can come close by drawing a rectangular box around it, use graph paper to scale, and then subtract away the areas outside your lot by computing the areas of the right triangles that lie outside the lot lines.
The area of a right triangle is 1/2 the base times the height (the legs that form the 90* angle).

The deed calls for 2 acres and 11 perches, but the measurements on the deed are: 125 feet X 1009.8 feet X 47 1/5 feet X 10048.4 feet, but the new survey is with the previous measurements, and is calculated at 1.9782 acres.I don't know if you can do it like this but I took a rough average of the short leg and the long leg. so roughly 80x135 = 82,800
So real roughly a little under 2 acres. Or a little over 2 "builder" acres, usually considered 40,000 sq ft.

I might be able to scan, and post the survey drawing.Do you know any of the angles?

Presuming 3 of the 4 corners are right angles I come up with 2.0140504958677685950413223140496 acres, more or less :laughing:acreage............can anyone tell me the acreage on a piece of prpoerty that is.: 125 feet X 1017.36 X 47.47 X 1052.62 ?
