Wanted a new flat spot where we can park a friends camper. The area was mildly sloped so it didn't need much, about 2-3' fill at the low end. Used the tractor with a Box Blade, Rear Blade and finished off with the pulverizer yard tool (just for a seedbed). Used about 3 clock hours on the tractor and mostly a day to do it. Not too exciting :p but thought I would share.

Started out with ripper in the box blade... Hydraulic toplink was worth it... decided I need more weight (old crankshaft, chunk of steel and tied on a middle buster :D). Got it pretty close and decided to plant grass so I used the Yard Tool which gave a nice finish. Just noticed I didn't get photos of the rear blade cutting the inside ditch

It does slope off a little... does this angle look better? :) Wanted to make sure it doesn't become a pond  I'll let it get rained on for a while and see if I need to adjust the angle. Also, it might compact more on the high side so I may have to add more fill. It's a start...

Great job Teg! You can always get some erosion mat to put down over the seed, if your worried it will wash before the seed pops.

Are you going to compact it.??

Ah, yes that's better(bigger pic too). You will have to seed it with something that like heat, then follow up with a cool weather seed in a couple of months. Johnson & fescue grass are the main players here in E TN.
