    Default Thermal Leak Detector

Just ran across this handy version of an IR thermometer. Since it's getting colder and it's gift season... Depending on your house this thing might pay for itself pretty quickly.

Not a bad deal. I have a similar unit I bought at COSTCO several years back. I even use it to check temps on my grill or skillets before adding the food.

Excellent device. We're using one to check the performance of the floor heat in the main shop. Takes the guesswork out of where the heat is escaping, too.
