Tractor
NH TC40DA
I saved it from my dad's bone yard, it hadn't been started in 7-8 years, little fuel and a battery, about 1 revolution it fired right up. Now it's going to be the power for my firewood processor, that will free up my NH to load the deck and haul off bags of firewood. It's a 1954 Forson Major 4 cyl diesel.

Congratulations, nice old tractor.

These old machines just keep on working. Reminds of the old Timex commercial: Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

Nice! Get all the fluids changed, noting where you are; get a good heater coil for the crankcase/radiator, and you will have a tractor that may outlast your NH...(just joking...) Keep us advised!! PS: darn good looking tires on that '54...BobG in VA

Nice find, as everyone else has mentioned that tractor is in remarkably good shape a little care and you may get lots of use from it.
