    My wife would have every tractor out in the yard, replaced by stables for the horses, and her bedroom would be in the loft overlooking the whole thing.

    Sand Creek, if Simpson Strongtie ever goes out of business, you're in a world of hurt. Of course, you'll have lots of company. Where would the building industry be without those folks?

    Love timberframe and post & beam. Built a house from the latter about 10 years ago, really like working with the large posts and beams. Dream has been a timberframe but cost is higher than I wish to pay. The barn is gorgeous and just like a true barn should look like.
