Default Bit The Bullet, Put up a Carolina Carport....

Finally did it, put up a 48 x 31 Carolina Seneca barn. I was tired of watching the elements take there toll on my stuff.

Looks nice and I'm sure it cut down on UV damage, rain, etc. I'm on the lookout for something similar to park some stuff under.

So, those ground stringers with the prefab post mounts, how are they attached to the ground?

Very nice, the siding is metal? I've never seen horizontal metal siding like that.
How is the diagonal bracing done, I don't see anything in either direction.

I have two Carolina sheds. They are a different design and dimensions and are more sturdy and wind resistant than you would think. The stringers on the bases have a heavy steel anchor rod driven down 4 foot at three foot intervals.

Yes, I added 8 mobile home auger anchors at $25 each since I took the height up 2' more than standard.
