Alaskan Sawmill

I've got a granberg mini mill and have used it to slab up some alders, works quite well but I really need to get some of the rip chain.

You can make your own, just file the cutters mostly perpendicular to the length of the chain.

Most rip chains are simply regular chains ground to a 10 degree angle. Some of the fancier ones have alternating cutter patterns, made to cut harder woods with less effort and better cut quality. They will alternate a skinny left cutter, skinny right cutter, then full cutter. The first two score out the kerf, and the last one clears the chip out of the middle.
