About 2-300 yards from one side of the house to the other side. The BX carried 15 60lb bags at a time, 7 in the bucket and 8 on the pallet. Three trips with concrete and one with the mixer. This is the first time I used the tractor to move the mixer. It sure is easier than dragging it on those worthless wheels over gravel for that distance. The axle is strapped to each fork and the rear upright is tied down. The mixer fit like it was made for it. It felt much more stable this way than when standing alone. It is too top heavy and narrow wheelbase to tow with the tractor.

And the road I am about to turn onto was made by the BX.

You are lucky to have the mixer. My old boss would have you mix it in the bucket.

Several years ago the mixer was on sale at HF and with a discount coupon it was around $140, I think. Sure has been worth it.

Harbor Freight used to have some pretty good deals on certain items. Recently they have raised the prices on just about everything they carry. I never could understand how they could build the stuff and ship it over here for their prices. They have more then covered that with the current upward trend. I am glad I bought the stuff when prices were lower- you could sort through the junk stuff and dispose of it without losing to much $.

So what are you building with all the concrete?

Nice feedback.

Curious did you test the capacity of the hydraulics at the 3 point and FEL by loading bags until it would not lift anymore?

I bought my mixer on EBay. Same as HF but cheaper. Great investment.

Small slab, sidewalk, retaining wall base, underfence strip. We are between dogs now, so it is a good time to rebuild this yard and correct the drainage. The yard is notched into a hillside and originally sloped toward the house. No water problems but I didn't like it. I did a small correction by shovel years ago, changing it from a slope to a "V" but it needs to be a bit deeper in the center.

I thought about that after the photo. There are 15 more bags to move now, so I may see what it takes to overload each end.
