So, I couldn't afford the Ranger, but got a 570 Sportsman. It's first job is to keep the driveway clear of snow... so I'm thinking of building a hard cab for it. Just in the planning stages... but I tend to research the heck out of things to keep from making (what should be) obvious mistakes.
My goals are to keep me sheltered, stay under 300lbs, and look decent... in that order. LOL
Some fun facts I've found; 1X1 14 gauge square tubing is 1lb/ ft
18 gauge sheet metal is 2lbs/ sq ft
safety glass is 3.125lbs/ sq ft
I hope to keep it looking Rzrish. Here's a very rough sketch I made

The plan is to have two "jeep style" removable doors... and lots of lights. LOL The engine should keep me pretty warm... It'll need a windshield wiper.
So what do you think? Am I on the right track?
