Watch out that when you push on a dead 35' tree with your bucket, it's a good way to end up with 25 ft section breaking off and landing on your head, or even worse your tractor! (Don't get me wrong, I'm no safety Nazi and probably take too much risk myself, but 25 feet of tree falling out of the sky is heavy!)

Me Too. I think Ill give it a mediocre shove first with my bucket first to see if it's weak enough to push over. If it still wants to stand, I'll take the top down first and save the rotted trunk for last when the dangerous part is on the ground.

Thanks guys! One way or another it's coming down this weekend, and the double tree behind it too! Again, good solid advice from all......

Let us know how you end up doing it and how well the results turn out. I know I'm not the only curious one... :D

Advising to NOT try to push over that tree. That's a good way to die when it breaks off where you shot it full of holes and then drops on you and your tractor.

Well?

It's a hole in the ground and can be a deep subject...

No, seriously, I would like to hear how it turned out as well.
