First Day of Spring -- What's Your Spring Project List?

Watching the 18" plus snow still on the ground melt, turn into mud, then dry out so I can get to Spring Projects

1. Fix flat on tractor by adding SLIME inside tire.
2. Replace blade on bottom of snow plow that wore out plowing last snowstorm.
3. Attach fake stone veneer to bottom of south facing foundation where cement coating is cracking off in pieces.
4. Keep selling off possessions I no longer use or need. Started this project years ago with attic, basement and sports things.

Looks like old man winter hasn't got the word about the first day of spring...time for him to pack and leave.
Do list....
Lots of ground/lawn cleaning.
Burn brush piles.
Plant trees and grass feed for deer.
Repair mailbox and fence from snow plowing..opps.
Prep garden.
Starting getting next winter wood stack.
More motorcycling tours.
Than there Mrs. list...yikes.

My list is
-finish coffee table I started last week
-start and finish end table and side table
-fix vent cover on gazebo
-build greenhouse
-seed, aerate and lime lawn
-rake out chickweed from lawn
-start new hedge
-clean gravel from edge of lawn so the rocks don't become projectiles while mowing

With the priority on the furniture pieces to keep DW happy.

I'm sure you are correct, but I don't even want to ask my wife what is on her list!! I don't think I could take the shock!!

hmmm...

1) finish barn pad
2) build two landscape walls up the slope from the barn pad
3) drainage tiles for barn pad landscape walls
4) electrical wiring for barn
5) cement floor inside barn and a cement apron into barn
6) finish the turning circle between barn and where the house will be built
7) cut road from gate into the barn/house turning circle
8) build one if not two loafing sheds
9) sacrifice paddock for cattle
10) have the well drilled, plumbed, and powered
11) do more fencing

now, what shoud i do after lunch?

Put up hammock, beer and a nap...:drink:

Well, despite my official list (it MUST be official, I posted it on TBN...) my wife had other ideas. Despite the nice weather this weekend, my list turned into "go antique shopping with the wife."

BUT... it wasn't all bad. At least we found a place that had some great old tractor implements and 100-year-old hand tools at reasonable prices... I picked up a NICE set of vintage Stanley chisels. Now I will have to tune-in to the Wranglerstar channel on YouTube to re-watch all of those old "how to restore antique chisels" videos. Something new to add to my Spring to-do list - restore vintage chisels.

1) finish 2000' barbed wire fence separating coastal hay field from WW-B Dahl grazing field
2) fix hay rake that came off the truck hitch driving between places and bent every witch way last fall
3) finish picking up rooted mesquite trees and smooth land on renovated pasture
4) sprig Jiggs in April on new hay field
5) plant WW-B Dahl on renovated pasture in May
6) plant millet for Fall dove hunting
7) whatever the wife thinks needs fixing at the house
8) head to the lake for May/June striper fishing
