First Day of Spring -- What's Your Spring Project List?

Even though I can't get outside on the first day of spring due to the darn snow, I thought we needed a "spring project list" thread. Here's a starter list of mine, in no particular order:

1. Make some gauge wheels for the landscape rake to make spring clean-up easier
2. Build a new woodshed CLOSER TO THE HOUSE and tear down the old one...
3. ...so that I can start grading the foundation for a new Tractor / Implement shed
4. Cut up the big 3 windfalls from this year's crazy snow load and fully stock the new woodshed (1 hickory, 1 oak and 1 beech)
5. Add another trolling motor battery to the boat
6. Finish my son's go-kart -- a winter Father-Son build project turned into a Father build project, but I've got too much time invested in it not to finish.
7. Add a roof to the chicken run
8. Go to more of my sons' baseball games than I did last year

How about you guys?

First on my list is some minor woodwork trim that I have been putting off for an embarrassing length of time. I'll do that soon--really :laughing:--while waiting for the snow to melt and it's warm enough in the garage for good stain and poly drying.

I have to finish picking rocks in the field reclaiming project that didn't get finished last fall. That won't get started until late May or June depending on the weather. Seeding and liming the areas that are already done.

I have serious intentions for a wood/equipment shed, but then, I do every year.

Fix fencing, build new shed for the cattle, move the pig operation to another area, add a lean to on the barn, Finish clearing the last 5 acres, Extend 2 pastures and divide the front pasture, try to run water out to the pasture, in my spare time.

Now my list is feeling a little anemic... maybe I should set loftier goals for myself!

1) finish barn pad
2) build two landscape walls up the slope from the barn pad
3) drainage tiles for barn pad landscape walls
4) electrical wiring for barn
5) cement floor inside barn and a cement apron into barn
6) finish the turning circle between barn and where the house will be built
7) cut road from gate into the barn/house turning circle
8) build one if not two loafing sheds
9) sacrifice paddock for cattle
10) have the well drilled, plumbed, and powered
11) do more fencing

now, what shoud i do after lunch?

Were getting a snowstorm, so I guess the first thing I'll do this spring is snowplow!

Start with lawn care then clear more trees next some outside painting then clean out the garage.
Enjoy some warm weather.
