Total will be 15 sections like this one, concrete posts with 12" cast wall between them. The wall will be crowned with pavers and pine boards - pickets or privacy - will be screwed to 2x4 cross beams to complete the fence. The distance between posts is 98", posts are 8', above ground section of the post is 5'8". As long as the fence is under 6', no permit is needed. I found those posts at local concrete mixing plant on clearance for $10 a piece.

I have some vision of the result, making decisions on the go - ok selling my ideas to my wife to be precise :D

The old fence was really old and really pathetic, will try to find a picture.

Your picture reminds me of Tuco (the ugly guy on the good the bad and the ugly) is it supposed to be him?

Yes it is, Tuco is my hero ;)

That dog is long gone, Buster Brown was 13 month old when liver cancer killed him. Oh well, still, he was our prettiest Airedale.

Interesting fence. Should last

Mostly concrete. Waiting for the concrete panel inserts?

Here is a video, I would not be pouring concrete if I could buy precast.
