Thinking about building a pit and smoker cobination. Has anybody ever built one? Sure could use some ideas. Any plans, web sites, or pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks Adam

If you drive west out of Winchester, cross Pin Oak creek, round the curve to the right just past Granny Goebel's, then take an immediate left, and then turn in at the driveway on the left..... They used to build smokers there commercially. The old man died but the family still lives there and the shop is still there. And the last time I was there - there were some castoffs laying around. You could talk to the folks and maybe even get a drawing - or look at the ones they did - I'm sure they must have one around for personal use. OR ... just go into Austin to a big smoker store and look at what they have to sell and get ideas that way.

How about the missing hazmat label on the keg. Is that where you keep the Secret Sauce /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
