| Re: Sad times are here for us I've often wondered about coffee keeping people awake. As long as I could remember, the last thing my Dad did before going to bed at night was to have a final cup of coffee (didn't use decaffinated either).
My wife and I have been married over 42 years, but as long as I've known her, she drinks coffee from the time she gets up in the morning until she goes to bed at night.
Until I retired, I was spending most of my time at a desk in an office and I drank coffee from the time I got up in the morning until I left the office about 5:15 p.m. each day. But for quite a few years now, I only drink coffee from the time I get up until about noon. Then I change to cold drinks; frequently sipping iced tea until bedtime.

P. S. I like coffee a lot. Over the years I would guess I have had coffee in 90% ot the diners in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My most favorite meal is hot roast beef sandwich with mashed and gravey. Finish off with home made pie and coffee. The old diners always had good hot beef and pie. Good coffee??? |

My MIL doesn't like it. She says don't fix any of that coffee with chickweed in it. Wish I could find some chickweed . . . . |
