What\'s your SPI?
What is your spark plug index? (Some call it a cylinder index) The index represents the number of spark plugs in vehicles and equipment that you own. Mine is 38:
2000 F150- 8
2000 BMW-6
2000 Sylvan Boat - 6
1998 Honda Civic - 4
1948 Ford tractor - 4
1956 Ford tractor - 4
2001 lawn tractor - 1
gas weedeater - 1
2 push mowers - 2
gas edger - 1
chain saw - 1
That adds up to 38. I have heard of people with over 100. Personal SPI, not Business SPI. (Don't count your company-owned stuff)

Re: What\'s your SPI?
My cylinder index (Including diesels) is a piddly little 18, even including my dam pump.
I guess I just don't cut it with the TBN muscle

What does your SPI prove? That you spend far too much on fuel that just went up 14 cents a gallon.
My wife has been saying for a while we have too many card in the driveway, after looking at this maybe she is right.

Re: What\'s your SPI?
Gosh, I sure am in big trouble. I have a 10 cylinder engine it has no plugs at all. I got rid of the 4 cylinder truck that had eight so with three autos at home I have a puny 8 SPI. Is that a new low or what.
