My MIL gave my wife and I a new TV for the bedroom. The old one was loosing one of it's colors and needed replacing. The wife made a comment about it must be the green and yellow colors, because now it is going blue. Then she said, "doesn't green and yellow make blue?".
I had to comment on that! I told her only in tractors, as my green and yellow kept getting stuck, so it made a blue one to fix that!(She just shook her head!) (for you that don't know, I have a JD that kept getting stuck, so I bought a Ford with fwa to pull it out)
I got a bunch of tractor trivia stuff, such as a JD checker set, JD pocket knife, JD calendar, JD shirt, 12 volt coffee cup, along with a bunch of other nice stuff. My 20 year old daughter got a laptop, and a pile of other expensive stuff. Thanks to my inlaws and parents, she didn't do without dispite me being out of work for way too long. There was more Florida Gator stuff than you could shake a stick at!
I hope all the rest of you had a Merry Christmas. My best present was the ticket being dismissed, so I could go back to work.

Santa brought me a new toy. It works pretty much like everyone else's I've seen in the photo section. Now my critters can't even hide at night.

These trail cams are a lot of fun. It is illegal to feed deer here in New York so I have a lot of fun trying to find perfect spots along trails so that I can get good pictures of the critters walking the trails.

I can see why.... when I drove across New York last month to Boston and back, I was amazed at how many dead deer were on New York's part of I90. And the live ones were thick along there, especially along the Erie canal. Yikes! I was kind of nervous how close they stood to the road eating at sundown.

The reason its illegal is because they do not want the deer to congregate to one area and risk spreading a disease. This law come about during the CWD scare. They even jailed a lady in Buffalo for constantly violating this law. She was arrested multiple times and warned. Finally the court just put her in jail and that was the last she fed the deer in the park (well, the last time I heard about it in the news).

Most hunters and deer people know what it is, as for the rest of you...

CWD aka, Chronic Wasting Disease (you see, CWD is much easier to say and type )

your acronyms were fun

Also, if you would have googled "CWD deer" it would have brought up a lot of pages dealing with it.
