Hard to draw a line where rumor meets reality. Back in the fall, four 17 year old girls at our local high school commited suicide over a 3 day period as part of a suicide pact. It was known around the school after the first that there could be more. No action was taken until after #4.

IMHO, Kids don't need cell phones in school. Too many distractions already.

I've seen numerous reports of deadly traffic accidents involving teens AND adults texting while driving.
