Default Web counters

This is related to tractors because our website is about tractors and our counter has gone on the fritz, giving an ERR2 message.....I am very limited in website knowledge, just getting by with Front Page to maintain our site. Apparently the site from which the counter was obtained is gone, as following the hyperlink takes me to a page that says "ERR2". Any suggestions for sites from which to get a counter from those of you with first hand experience would be sincerely appreciated. Sincerely. Thanks.

Wayne,
Here's one that looks good.

Free Website Counter | Free Web Counter

My wifes site The HeadShop Wigs uses Google Analytics instead of a counter. It allows us to track visitors by location, keyword, time, etc.

Bruce

PS I thought your site was down compleately. I had bookmarked your old "Why buy a Compact Tractor" page and I guess it's been pulled. Might be others out there in the same boat.

Bruce,
thanks for the suggestion. Always bookmark the home page as well for any site, as lots of sites, ours included, change content and any given page may be pulled/changed/renamed. I try to look at the stats from our host every so often, and haven't seen any significant down time since we changed hosts a year ago.
