When I took the test I was the only female taking the exam from my school. I thought a few times about taking the PE exam, but I always felt that it didn't do much for a mechanical engineer. Instead I went back to school and earned my MSME and eventually kept going for an MBA, which in the end turned out to be the bread winner |

. | Well congrat, it is quite an accomplishment. The thought of taking the test again gives me a cold chill and make me nauseated. 17 years ago I passed my test after second attempt. I have to admit , I have taken nothing tougher and more stressful that this thing. I know I will not pass the test again if I had to do it again as my brain is getting numb .
You'll have to maintain continuing education to keep it active.
Congrats gain,
JC,
