If you paid for the cam with a credit card, you do have some leverage.
Do NOT pay the charge...tell your credit card company what the situation is. They'll do some of the negotiation for you.

Boy, I've never had a problem like you're having, Doc...even when I returned something. Maybe I'm just more of a loudmouthed SOB...

</font color=blue> Good for you!! That's become my standard practice now .... the only way to treat obnoxiious sale<font color=red>persons</font color=red> is to let them see your back. Of course ... now I also back that up with an email to the company in question, and the branch, to let them know why I did not buy product "x".
One positive thing about shopping on the 'net ... no annoying salescritters.
