Default Toddler buys earthmover in online auction

Toddler buys earthmover in online auction - Yahoo! News

I find this story pretty funny. I'm sure the parents didn't find it funny, though. You parents out there better have a close eye on your young one or else you may have a new piece of equipment!

There's not much information in the story, so I'm wondering if the mom really bought it thinking it was a toy for her kid. She admits to buying toys in this quote,

"Quinlan said she had made auction bids on several toy sets and assumed she had bought a toy digger."

But then blames her toddler. There is no mention of the kids age, but the fact that she went to take a nap and the toddler was up and using her computer while she was napping, has me doubting her story.

Seems a little fishy to me too,. With all the steps involved in bidding (ie enter bid, then the second confirm page) i dont think a 3 year old could do it. I know my 4 year old couldnt.

On top of that its her fault for not logging out. But hey it easier to blame the kid right

Worse of all, they didnt link to the auction so i got no idea if she got a good deal.

Too many zeroes, for it to be a toy digger....

Ha ha ha. I heard about this on the news. Seems the mom was teaching the kid how to use the computer and the kid later went online and tada, a new earthmover. I wonder what the kid will buy next

Hmmm.... wonder if the wife would buy this story if another new tractor were to show up at the house.....
