Default Sergeant York, Gary Cooper

Man, if you have not seen this movie check it out. I just watched it for the first time and I can't beleive how great it was. Sorry to be a bit off topic but I had to share.

One of my favorites...

The African Queen was on TCM day before yesterday. Another excellent movie...

I've seen both Sergeant York and the African Queen several times and, yep, they're both good movies, especially Sergeant York, since it's based on fact.

I watched it with my wife and 4yr old son on Memorial day. My boy had to strap on his six shooters at the start of the movie when Alvin was outside the church raising cain. He ended up with a long gun and his cowboy hat shooting the Germans. A real classic movie. JC

I love TCM for gems like these. I have no idea how it is that I had not even heard of this movie before but from time to time TCM surprises me.
