For all you steam train buffs, I see the Pere Marquette #1225 will be coming to town here in mid-Michigan for railroad festival. This is not a toy mining or circus engine but the real deal.

Even bigger news zz, is the train festival at the end of July in Owosso (home of 1225). There will be all sorts of real steam engines there including the SP4449 which is currently en-route from Portland! Check it all out here. Are you planning on attending? If so, we could plan a meetup.

I would definitely attend THAT trainfest ! Owosso is just up the road....
