My buds have newer 4 stroke WR's fixed up super motard. Sweet rides.

This is my 1982 Honda CB900C. I've had it since '89 and it has been an incredibly reliable daily commuter/light touring machine throughout the years. For the record, I always (all right... except for this time... ) wear a full face helmet when riding. This was a photo-op on a quiet country road with my then 97 year-old grandma to send to the rest of the family. She insisted that they should be able to see our faces, and there's no way she was going to settle for a "parking lot" picture! Who am I to argue with a 97 year old woman? At her age, she's earned the right. She rode her own Honda well into her eighties!

I hope to get another 20 years or so out of this venerable steed. :thumbsup:

Sweet bike. It was "the duck's guts" when I was in college, but I got a KZ 750 ("the bullet", pre-Ninja) instead because it was cheaper.

Wow 4shorts, you have some gorgeous Honda's there. I used to have a Trail 70 when I was a kid. Mine was the 3spd auto and my friend had a 4spd manual. We sure put the miles on those little bikes and they were bullet proof. Gas was $0.45/gal then too!

Oh man the memories. I started off with a Z50 just like the one I restored above then Dad gave me the money to buy the "72 CT70. Man I was on top of the world. Mine was a 3 speed auto as well just like the one I restored above.

Those bikes were some that I restored over the last few years. I'll just say it was a stage I was going through. Make you a deal. I'll trade that jet in your avatar for the Ct70 :laughing:

I have a '99 Honda Shadow American Classic Edition 1100. It's the model Harley sued Honda about the sound of the bike, and Harley won.

Here I am last week on my annual Christmas Eve Santa run. I ride around the Lehigh Valley for a few hours. The look on the faces of kids who see me make the cold ride more than worth it.
