Re: Any Tractor Guys Into Sports Cars Too?
Lotus 11 would be my guess...
My uncle was very successful racing Lotus Super 7s back in the day.
The trailer I use to move my BX is his old Super 7 trailer.

I my sports car is a four cylinder Toyota Tacoma, yes it is not actually a sports car but with a 5 speed stick its pretty fun. Put it in low range and you can actually get some good take offs with it. It's also impossible to get stuck and has a stiff suspension there ya go.

It's green and yellow, so many mistake it for a John deere.

Re: Any Tractor Guys Into Sports Cars Too?
here is a copy of some of my old muscle cars
the picture of each car was taken after I finished painting each one ( couldn't afford the PRO shops!) the 69 GTO didn't have the trim back on yet...
OOps you said sports cars ... here's the engine bay on my 1984 Mazda RX7
for the moment it is powered by a 1969 pontiac GTO 400/350 hp 445lbs.torque engine, but the built pontiac 455 is soon to go back in.... and the car is not pretty in its current condition, but it will get the groceries home
a couple more more for the road 1974 black on black AMX(the wifes car)
and my friends 1971 H.O. 455 4 speed TA One of the better paint jobs I did ( we painted the stripes to)
the combined engines displacement as each was equipped at the time each picture was taken 2525 cubic inches

). Compared to our previous average sedans or cross overs it was a real revelation in terms of performance and driving experience. So when my 17 year old daughter commandeered my 03 F150 I began looking for a daily driver and got a high mileage 06 Infiniti G35 coupe with the 6 speed manual and sport package. And while some might claim this isn't a true sports car, well, it is. It is too heavy but it has 300 bhp, 19" forged rims, large antisway bars, stiffer springs, rough ride and all that. It seems most happy at 5000 rpm (and it underneath it is the same as a 350Z with a few extra inches of wheel base). Anyway, I love it. I've made trips to the mountains to drive on twisty roads. I'm hoping, if I can ever find the time, to take it to the track for a weekend.
