| Re: Just wait. ERNIEB,
Seem like the earth axles have tip and you folks down south are getting New England weather instead of us.
I might know the answer why.
Seems like everyone moving south which the earth has become unbalance, or maybe mother nature wants everyone to have a white christmas.

How much snow from mother nature this time around?
We got about 8" in the valley 16" in the mountains. Plowed today for 12hrs straight. Looks like another round for the weekend.

| Re: Just wait. Derek,
Sounds like you had a long day going backwards an forward.
Don't you get a little lame after 12 hours behind the wheel also metality drain watching out for other an objects.
Least you have today off somewhat an can get some rest before the next weather low pressure arrives tomorrow, and the weather station saying about the same size storm.
7inches fell here..oh but the windchill range -9 to -15 below when plowing last night, and I didn't use low range..high range and no mercy for the snow.
Keep it between the ditches and the banks push back.

It is a long time. But most the time the time seems like it it flies. Just take one driveway at a time. I took some pics but need to wait till the roll is full. I get out of the truck to switch the iced up wiper blade with a thawed out one and the truck needs to get refueled ever six hours . The objects are many-> dogs, markers, trees, well heads, mail boxes, parked cars, moving cars, rocks, pee stones, culverts, BIG DEEP ditches, ETC, ETC.
Well I work 6 days a week under normal (non plowing days). Today was a shop day, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing cars and trucks. But the variety is nice and keeps me on my toes.
The storm has been down played now to flurries around here. But that doesn't mean anything around here (wrap around moisture gets us all the time). Just take it day by day, storm by storm. Luckily this year we got the tractor to push the banks back when it is needed. Usually we hire a loader to do it but I always had to watch him but this year I get to have fun and get paid !!!!!!! AS far a the cold and the windchill the truck is warm and the cab on the tractor with a heater helps.
Just think........ Spring is just another 5 months away !
