Default Ark, Okla, Tx, NM, Ariz road conditions

Would like some help the next few days as to Weather & Road Conditions on I-40 West begining Wed 12-27. My daughter is moving to LA and driving thru all these states on her way. If anybody out there can give me a short email or reply here I would appreciate it. Email is lmccallu@bellsouth.net

That would include Memphis, Little Rock, Ft. Smith, OK city, Amarillo, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Kingman, Barstow.

From the looks of the Weather Channel it's starting to look rough all week.

Thanks

Northern AZ received lots of snow on Christmas, but the forecast from now through New Year's is for clear conditions. Roads are all plowed and cindered now.

I live in east OKC. I chipped about a half inch of ice off my truck this morning. I did not even try to go to work today and may not try the trip tomorrow as it is a 30 mile commute. Roads are definitely slick and hazardous. A few of the local TV station web sites are www.kfor.com and www.kwtv.com to get current conditions and local forecasts.

Thanks ALL - Keep the updates coming. She has decided to delay till Thursday or Friday leaving now. Wise beyond her years "just like dear old dad" HA!

Damon - thanks - the local TV websites very helpful. If anyone else has local TV websites along this route would be helpful.

Of course we are monitoring weather websites and the weather channel but nothing like First Hand Info.

Thanks again to ALL.

PS - Hope all in the path of this Storm get thru with a minimum of disruption in services, utilities, and are able to stay out of harms way. As it now covers most of Mid-South of our Nation and is projected to turn up the East Coast as well - Major Storm!!
