DTV converter boxes
About 4 years ago I purchased a pair of Zenith digital to analog converter boxes, because I had only analog TV sets then and used a pair of the $40 coupons from the government to buy them new, the $16 purchase price each was worth it then. I was packing the boxes up to take to Goodwill today along with my only remaining analog TV set, and thought I would check Ebay to see if the boxes were worth anything. Much to my surprise there are a lot of them for sale there. Is there any other use for these converter boxes aside from the intended purpose?
Always be willing to admit your shortcomings, there is no shame in not knowing how to do something. The shame is in NOT admitting you don't know how to do it.
If you have a small truck, limit yourself to small loads, if you want to carry the big stuff, get a big truck.
Never be ashamed of making a mistake. The only people who never (bleep) up are people who never try to do something new.

Re: DTV converter boxes
I gave mine to our local Hospice Thrift Shop along with the analog TV. They both had very few hours of use since they'd been in our RV, and I made a note about that and attached it to them.

I don't know of any other uses for them.
If you need another one I'd suggest getting it shipped to you. When I went to get a new one I came home with a new digital TV instead.
I've got a cutting torch and a welder sooo YEAH it'll fit!!
