Heck, we've had two springs already this winter in Ohio.

What groundhog day means to me is that the guys down at the groundhog lodge will be so drunk that they will be hung over for a week.

Me too, Thomas. I am ready for spring.
About this time of year, I get tired of layers of clothing, get an itch to get outside and do stuff.
I am in the middle of buying 11 acres that abut our property. It has some cleaning up do be done along the road. There are some dead fall trees to get after, firewood to cut and the usual things.
Those black flies, have you ever noticed them swarming out of freshly rototilled garden soil in late May? I think they are young black flies, but they could be some sort of gnat too I suppose.“It is a great thing to know the season for speech and the season for silence” ― Seneca (4 BC - 65 AD)
