Since there was a teeny bit of interest to the F1 thread last year I will try again this year.

Who's ready and waiting for the first race? I know I'm excited to see Hammy at Mercedes this year and Lotus will certainly be very strong.

Red Bull seems to be the favorite again, with Seb's odds tops for the drivers championship.

I can't wait!!

I am ready! I just downloaded the new 2013 app to my phone.

6 days, 15 hours, 55 minutes, 50 seconds til the next race!

I hope Fox does a good job, but I think I will miss the Speed coverage myself.

I hope Ferrari makes a huge comeback this year.

Ya, I remember talking about that from last year. I GOTTA get there!!

I haven't ever been to Texas either and I really would like to see some of it.

I am pulling for Kimi and Lotus. I always love the underdog. I used to cheer for Minardi back in the day. And Nico Hulkenburg dominated in GP3 so he should come to maturity soon.

Well what do you think of the race? I was a bit surprised to see Kimi win, albeit happy about it. Ferrari seems on form for top performance this year. Lewis I think will be frustrated in a couple more races from now.

I thought it was great, and NBC (I mistakingly wrote Fox above) did a admirable job on the coverage.
Since there was no major rule changes this year, the teams/cars should be pretty well matched, that's probably why Lotus/Kimi won, and Lewis finished so well.
