So you still have to carry keys...

.

Yes and no.

The touch lock is incredibly convenient. It literally takes but 2-3 seconds to enter the code. Faster than i can fiddle for keys for sure.Especially if I have anything in my hands.

Kids can come home from school, and let themselves in. No lost keys in school.. No risk of them being locked out. Piece of mind.

The only key I keep for the touch lock is kept outside hidden not on a chain, as a reserve in the remote chance the lock fails.

I admit I thought it was a gimmick when I bought my first.. Now Id never go back. Dad saw how convenient it was, and bought one. A buddy of mine felt the same and bought one too.

Ever locked your keys in the house? Or your keys in your vehicle that had the house key on them and your spare car keys are in the kitchen? How much did that suck? That can never happen to me with this system.;)

I noticed a lot of homes in Bavaria have fingerprint door locks...

Was surprised to find a print door lock on a 15th century farmhouse as well.
