Here is a link to some photos of the production model H4WD.com

The thing is, Honda will keep it affordable for the average human, something Toyota forgot about long ago.

I bought my first Toyota in 1982 and have had 6 other Toys since then. I still have a 91 Corolla (170K miles) and a 91 truck (140k miles) but have since switched my "brand loyalty" to Honda...I bought a 2002 CR-V that came loaded and was still $5-10K less than the base model Highlander and/or RAV4.

I'm very excited about the Ridgeline...so much so that it may very well be my next vehicle...

sorry for the rant...

sort of reminds me of the cadillac truck or suv. Very nice looking truck, and I prefer the Dodge Ram Series.

Second thought, but will it pull my trailer and Kubota?

It's based on the Honda Pilot setup - I did notice that they upped the GVW 100# - probably so "businesses" can get the tax write off. I'd say it will do 95% of what I use my Ford Supercrew for better, but lacks a little in the payload & towing capacity departments. Wifey has a pilot - nice car.

Wow ... maybe I should sell my dodge and start hauling things around with a honda.

Oh... but wait thats
252 ft-lbs at 4500 rpm and 5000 lb tow rating......
well the dodge is 600 ft-lbs at 1600 rpm and almost 15,000 lbs of tow rating..... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

All kidding aside, when will toyota, nissian and honda get serious about a real truck?

I'm sick of yet another soccer mom SUV or pickup. Soccer moms have made it to where the common guy has to go up to a 3/4 ton truck or larger to get a true truck anymore. I want a 1/2 ton regular cab truck built like a tank, but they don't exist anymore.

Squishy rides and features and slightly modified engines originally designed for cars, and on the worst even frames re-used from a car line have made most of them useless as true truck or SUV anymore and durability has gone downhill. You used to be able to buy a truck and realistically expect to get 300,000 to 400,000 miles out of it if you treated it good because they were overbuilt, rode rough, and simply designed.

Oh great!!! Just what we need another plastic play truck for the soccer mom.
