Prairie Creek is absolutely incredible. Take the hike to the beach through Fern Canyon...there's nowhere quite like it.

Nobody said a good thing about Big Basin. It's A Great place and if your useing the coast route you get San Luis Obisbo, Pismo Beach, Hearst Castle,Carmel,Pebble Beach /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif,Monterey Santa Cruz, on into San Francisco If your bringing your lady this trip gives you the Biggest Bang for your buck and i mean in more ways than one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Good Luck!

Suffice it to say, there are a ton of great places to see in this state. Yosemite's El Capitan, Half Dome, and the incredible falls have got to be some of the most incredible in the state and certainly rate as one of the tops in the world. The whole Mt Shasta and Trinity area is also a favorite of mine. Even Death Valley in the Spring is alive and fantastic. One of the prettiest drives is down Highway 395 to Bishop. Highway 1 of course along the Pacific Ocean is always beautiful. Lake Tahoe is magnificent. OK, thats enough..
